I had known for a couple years Eric Clapton had written and performed a song in honor of the Blessed Mother, which you can check out HERE. But it was only recently I discovered the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll himself, Elvis Presley, had sung one, too!
That’s right. Elvis once sang and recorded a track called “Miracle of the Rosary” in honor of Our Lady and her Rosary. Is that cool, or what?! The song is featured in his album called Peace in the Valley: The Complete Gospel Recordings, and was originally written by Jesse Lee Denson. You can listen to Denson’s original version HERE.
You can check out the song here below, and I’ve also included the song’s lyrics as well. Enjoy!
Oh Blessed Mother we pray to Thee
Thanks for the miracle of Your Rosary
Only You can hold back
Your Holy Son’s hand
Long enough for the whole world to understand
Hail Mary full of grace
The Lord is with Thee
Blessed are thou among women
And blessed is the fruit of Thy womb, Jesus
Oh Holy Mary dear Mother of God
Please pray for us sinners
Now and at the hour of our death
And give thanks once again
For the miracle of Your Rosary
