“Peace Is In Danger…”

November 25, 2015 message from Our Lady of Medjugorje to Marija Pavlovic-Lunetti:

“Dear children!

Today I am calling all of you: pray for my intentions.

Peace is in danger, therefore, little children, pray and be carriers of peace and hope in this restless world where Satan is attacking and tempting in every way.

Little children, be firm in prayer and courageous in faith.

I am with you and intercede before my Son Jesus for all of you.

Thank you for having responded to my call.”

Our Blessed Mother couldn’t be more right. Peace is most definitely in danger. We witnessed it on 9/11, the recent Paris attacks, the ongoing violence in the Middle East, the looming financial crisis, the continuous moral decadence, and the constant rumors of a WWIII within our midst.

Many of us have started to feel like strangers in our own homelands. What’s become of peace? How did we let it slip through our fingers? Is there any safe place left anymore? Will we ever come out of this?

Most of us have asked ourselves these kind of questions as we observe the state of the world around us. It is overwhelming, to say the least, and we can find ourselves feeling hopeless and powerless.

But in the midst of all the mess our world is experiencing Our Lady is encouraging us to do three important things: Be carriers of peace, have faith, and pray.

Pray for the nations, our families and neighbors, the Church, and especially for all of Our Lady’s intentions of peace in the world. For she is constantly interceding for all of us before her Son Jesus to minimize the sufferings and maximize the graces being poured onto us.

No matter how much our common enemy wants to convince us of his victorious reign over the world, it is the Father who rules all. He has the last word. But we cannot simply sit back and do nothing either. We have our own responsibilities to keep as well: Prayer, faith, and messengers of peace. We can sit and speak about faith all day, but faith not put into action helps no one, let alone ourselves. Let us be living testimonies of God’s love and mercy throughout the world!

Also let us not forget the Holy Rosary, and its numerous miracles. Although seemingly humble and frail, it transcends and achieves what our human reasoning and capabilities ever could.
